The Rosenhof Bailiú, the Irish word for a collection; so very fitting because of the historical origins of the Irish settlers who came to settle Rosenhof here in our idyllic little town, Clanwilliam in the 17th century. As Clanwilliam has grown into one of the Western Cape’s leading destinations, Rosenhof grew with the demands to offer different style types in accommodation.
Rosenhof offers travelers the opportunity to enjoy stylish accommodation of their own choice of the characteristics that make Rosenhof exceptional, with guestrooms, to units offering more to the versatile traveller.
Our guesthouse option offers business travelers and guests a bed and breakfast package, where our self-catering units are fully equipped and more suitable for families and group bookings.

Best hostess and accommodation during the flower season!!! Look no further. Rosenhof Loft Cabins is the place to stay. When we arrived there was a fresh loaf of homemade bread and jam waiting for us. The cabins are spotless and have everything you need. Karen has a wealth of knowledge of the area and surroundings. She guided us all the way from Vanrhynsdorp through Nieuwoudtville regarding the best routes to take to view the best display of flowers. Thanks to her we visited, Boereplaas and Matjiesfontein where the flowers were in spectacular. Thereafter we travelled to Clanwilliam via the Botterkloofpass where she once again sent me messages about which road to take and which one not to take. We will never be able to thank her enough as the trip was the first for us from the Eastern Cape. Dankie Karen 🤗
We were met by the lovely host Karen, who made us feel very welcome. She upgraded our room, and was very helpful and informative. The facilities were cozy and nice, and the staff super friendly and helpful. We traveled for work and was relying on Wifi, as well as using the self-facilities to cook. This was no problem at all. In the evening we used the braai by the pool, and the outdoor area which was very nice and equipped. We used the laundry service on site, and had the opportunity to have breakfast made for us when we wanted. It was very easy and safe to park on the premises. Also, no problem at all to arrive early or late after a full day of hiking or climbing in Rocklands.
