Best hostess and accommodation during the flower season!!! Look no further. Rosenhof Loft Cabins is the place to stay. When we arrived there was a fresh loaf of homemade bread and jam waiting for us. The cabins are spotless and have everything you need. Karen has a wealth of knowledge of the area and surroundings. She guided us all the way from Vanrhynsdorp through Nieuwoudtville regarding the best routes to take to view the best display of flowers. Thanks to her we visited, Boereplaas and Matjiesfontein where the flowers were in spectacular. Thereafter we travelled to Clanwilliam via the Botterkloofpass where she once again sent me messages about which road to take and which one not to take. We will never be able to thank her enough as the trip was the first for us from the Eastern Cape. Dankie Karen š¤
We were met by the lovely host Karen, who made us feel very welcome. She upgraded our room, and was very helpful and informative. The facilities were cozy and nice, and the staff super friendly and helpful. We traveled for work and was relying on Wifi, as well as using the self-facilities to cook. This was no problem at all. In the evening we used the braai by the pool, and the outdoor area which was very nice and equipped. We used the laundry service on site, and had the opportunity to have breakfast made for us when we wanted. It was very easy and safe to park on the premises. Also, no problem at all to arrive early or late after a full day of hiking or climbing in Rocklands.
